Pair of Louis XVI-style half-moon consoles in richly molded and carved mahogany. They open at the waist with a central drawer and two pivoting side drawers. All drawers are adorned with moldings and carved with water leaves. The column-shaped front jambs are decorated with fluting and gilded Ionic capitals. Each console table features two crotch shelves against a molded-panel back, framed by fluted columns and pilasters. Molded Turquin blue marble top. Each one stamped twice "ANDRIEUX Rue de la Bienfaisance PARIS". Napoleon III period. Napoleon III period, Circa: 1870 Dim: W:164cm, D:60cm, H:101cm. In very good condition, with slight wear to the wood, and a few chips to the marble.
