Cup in water-green and white biscuit depicting a bare-chested mermaid blowing into a conch shell. Her hair up in a bun, she sits on a wave breaking in the center of the bowl. The lip is decorated with foliage and flowers. The whole is mounted on a gilded bronze base, adorned with a dragonfly, a shell and a stylized fish. These elements are linked by a branch. This is an English work dating from the early 19th century.
