LARGE CHANDELIER WITH GILT BRONZE AND CRYSTAL
A large ormolu chandelier with twelve lights. The central fluted shaft is decorated with seeds, water leaves and a frieze of posts. It holds sinuous branches topped by crystal daggers. The gilt bronze frame is decorated with acanthus leaves, rosette motifs, bearded satyrs and female faces. The ceiling cover is crowned with a drapery decorated with fleur-de-lis. Each wick is decorated with cut crystal pendants. The lamp is finished in the lower part by a blue lacquered metal decoration and a pine cone.
