Murano glass mirror with glazing beads and cut sides. This charming octagonal Venetian mirror is encircled by twisted gilded glass rods and richly decorated with foliage, flowers, rosary beads and rosebuds in brightly colored blown glass. The central mirror is beveled. The bezels contain eight mirrors engraved on the back with stylized flower motifs. Each flower has a heart formed by a convex micro-mirror. Each glass element is hand-crafted in the Venetian tradition, giving this mirror its unique character. The entire glass composition rests on a wooden floor typical of Venetian "Vetro di Murano" production in the early 20th century.
