ROCOCO MIRROR IN PORCELAIN IN THE TASTE OF MEISSEN
Porcelain mirror of oval shape, decorated with a garland of polychrome flowers in relief and a frieze of pearls in Rococo style. The top is decorated with a light blue bow with gold highlights. A pair of removable candle holders stand on either side of the mirror, allowing the light from the candles to be reflected and illuminate a room. The wooden back has two small feet and a sliding display system. Apocryphal signatures of Jacob Petit (JP) and Meissen (2 swords and star). The Meissen Manufactory and Jacob Petit have great similarities in their work with flowers in the round. Probably Samson. Condition report In very good condition, with some chips to the petals and slight wear to the gilding. It is noticeable that special care was taken in the flower work.
