Two sculptures in bronze with brown patina, depicting Fortune, goddess of luck, and Mercury, god of good fortune in Roman mythology. Each deity is represented with his attributes: Fortune carries ears of corn in one hand and the sceptre in the other, Mercury holds a purse. Both are propelled into the air by a blowing baby. Bases decorated with putti symbolising Painting and Sculpture. Both bronzes are signed "J. de Bologne".

Model after Jean de Bologne (Giambologna), French sculptor born in 1524 and died in Florence in 1608.
