ANTIQUE CLOCK GILDED BRONZE AND PORCELAIN WITH GALLANT SCENES

Antique clock in chased and gilded bronze, decorated on the main side with polychrome porcelain plates with gallant scenes in the 18th century style. The sides are decorated with landscapes. The terminal flanked by bows and quivers is topped by an urn with leafy handles resting on a branch. This clock rests on an oblong base, richly chiselled with acanthus leaves, flowers, ribbons and twisted motifs. Three other plates illustrating bouquets of flowers on a white background enliven the base. Condition Report In very good condition overall, with slight wear to the gilding. The original mechanism has been cleaned, serviced and is in working order. Circa: 1880 Dim: W:26cm, D:15cm, H:39cm.
