ROCAILLE STYLE CLOCK IN GILDED BRONZE, DECORATED WITH A PUTTO IN A SHELL

Small Rocaille style clock in chased and gilt bronze, richly decorated with scrolls, shells, gadrooned leaves and volutes. The white enamelled dial, with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, is surmounted by a seated Love in a shell. He makes a garland of flowers that falls along the dial.

Napoleon III period, Circa: 1860
