A gilded porcelain vase of Etruscan form, on a rectangular base resting on four lion-leg shaped feet, with handles decorated with acanthus leaves. The central medallion, painted in the manner of antique cameos, is polychrome and depicts two antique profiles, while the gilded background on the back is decorated tone-on-tone with a laurel wreath and warrior attributes. The antique-inspired vases are part of the neoclassical decorative system widespread in the 19th century. Empire period, Circa: 1810 Dim: W:22cm, D:10cm, H:28cm.
