Gilt bronze cartel in the Louis XV style, richly decorated with two cherubs amid clouds, surrounded by flowers and foliage. The white enameled dial with Arabic and Roman numerals features a goddess draped in antique style and holding a bunch of grapes. Openworked hands adorned with foliage scrolls. The movement and asymmetry of the Louis XV or Rocaille style are evident. Napoleon III period, Circa: 1850 Dim: W:38cm, D:18cm, H:78cm. In good condition. Original movement cleaned, serviced and in working order. Balance wheel attached.
