A Transition-style flying table in mahogany, mahogany veneer, and gilt bronze mounts. The clover-shaped case opens to reveal three compartments when the purple Brocatelle marble top from the Jura region is rotated, featuring an openwork brass gallery. It rests on three fluted legs joined by a stretcher and terminating in small cabriole feet. Late 19th century, circa 1880. Dimensions: W: 46cm, D: 46cm, H: 77.5cm.
