Bronze sculpture. Abstract composition signed in relief: "JL Vetter 1/3".
A self-taught sculptor, Jean-Louis Vetter (1934-2007) began his career in 1962 at the Château du Tremblay, where he established a bronze foundry in 1970. There, he worked with Fernand Rolland. In 1972, they founded the CRAC (Regional Center for Contemporary Art). Vetter is also known for inventing the calorigraphy technique in 1973, a printmaking technique using thermoforming of the printing plate. A retrospective exhibition was held in 2005 at the Grenier à Sel in Avallon. His works are held in numerous private collections in France and abroad.
