It represents three winged cupids, their hair adorned with vine leaves, holding a cup and bunches of grapes. A putto carries the quiver. The three cupids lean against the base of the cup, which is richly decorated with vine leaves and bunches of grapes. It supports a basin adorned in the center with a Medusa head and decorated with vine leaves around the rim. The cup rests on a black marble base with curved sides. The subject refers to the festivals of Bacchus , the god of wine and revelry in Greco-Roman mythology, where satyrs and Bacchantes drink from cups and dance.
