A bronze sculpture with a brown patina, "Nymph with Poppies," signed Gustave Obiols. It depicts a young woman walking with a walking stick in her left hand. Her head is adorned with a crown of poppies and leaves atop a loose chignon. Her bare breast is draped in a cape held by an ornate belt and a strap. She wears sandals. In her hand, she holds a bouquet of poppies. The base, treated as a rock, is decorated with leaves and signed G. Obiols. The bronze bears the EU mark and the foundry stamp "Médaille d'Or Paris." It is a sand-cast piece. This work is influenced by the Art Nouveau movement, which particularly favored the poppy motif and sinuous lines, as seen in the figure's hair.
