A bronze group with a brown patina depicting "Two Cupids Fighting Over a Heart" after Étienne-Maurice Falconet (1716-1791). This work enjoyed great success in the second half of the 19th century and was produced in bronze, marble, or alabaster. Two winged cupids are shown fighting to retrieve a heart depicted on the base. The bronze is signed " Falconet " on the base. It rests on a Vert-de-Mer marble plinth. Circa 1850
