A bronze sculpture with a medal patina by Paul Duboy depicting Psyche , slightly leaning forward, on a naturalistic base. The young girl is shown nude, simply draped. The bronze is presented on a circular base of veined white marble. Signed on the base: "Paul Duboy," a French sculptor active in the second half of the 19th century. He was a student at the École des Beaux-Arts from 1849 and exhibited at the Salon from 1853 to 1882. Circa 1870
Height without base: 42cm.
Condition report : In very good overall condition, the marble has small chips, barely visible. Traces of oxidation on the bronze.
