Bust in biscuit on pedestal representing the Allegory of Spring, a young woman dressed in an Antique-style tunic revealing a breast on which a butterfly and a few flowers rest. Her loose, wavy hair is adorned with a wreath of flowers. The pedestal is engraved with leaves and flowers. Manufacture stamp in blue biscuit on the reverse. The biscuit stands on a white and blue porcelain base with gold-painted motifs, bearing the Sèvres mark and the inscription "Modèle et décoration exclusive à la main". Work by Henri Ardant and Charles Auguste Arnaud (1825-1883), a French sculptor who studied at the Beaux-Arts d'Angers and exhibited regularly at the Salon from 1846 to 1864. XIX° period, Circa: 1860 Dim: W:25cm, D:15cm, H:34cm. In good condition. Two tiny cracks restored to the pedestal.
