A Biedermeier Vienna sofa in oak veneer, with stylized cornucopia shaped armrests and straight curved back. The crossbar and the front of the armrests are underlined with blackened wood discs and serrated patterns. This elegant piece of furniture has been fully upholstered in geometrically patterned fabric. The seat and arm cushions are removable. Austria, Biedermeier period (1815-1848), circa 1830
