A rectangular box in milky white opaline glass, decorated with straight fluting on the body and radiating fluting on the lid. The pomponne mount, finely chased with flowers on a matte background, is embellished with shells on both sides. The keyhole escutcheon is adorned with a floral wreath. The box rests on a base composed of four winged lion's paw feet. A small, superficial crack on the side. Charles X period, circa 1830. Dimensions: W: 12 cm, D: 8 cm, H: 9 cm.
