GRIOTTE MARBLE AND GILT BRONZE COLUMN

A late 19th century column in griotte red marble with a circular shaft topped by an Ionic capital composed of a bronze moulding decorated with oves hosting the square top. The attic base is composed of three quadrangular tiers of different red, pink and grey veined marble, which hold the gilded bronze mount composed of tori and astragalae.
It is ideal for highlighting a sculpture or a vase.
