Oval polychromeporcelain bowl, decorated with a polychrome cartouche with a golden frame, representing a couple sitting in the grass, at the edge of a lake. The woman is fishing while her young lover plays the flute. The leafy handles are enhanced with gold. The edges of the porcelain are decorated with a book and a bundle of straws in reserves on a blue background. The book symbolizes reading and leisure, while the bundle of straws evokes nature and agricultural activities.

Apocryphal mark of Sevres under the base, probably Samson.
