This unique piece by Lebanese artist Nayla Tabet is a tree sculpture combining high-quality metal wires and finely cut yellow-colored paper, resulting in a one-of-a-kind work of art. The artist likes to explore the contrast between the robustness of metal and the delicacy of paper, infusing each tree she creates with a story through its shape, colors and cut-outs. She depicts scenes imbued with poetry, where the tree is revealed in all its splendor.
Nayla Tabet was born in Lebanon in 1980. At the age of eight, her family found refuge in France, where she grew up in a small town in the south, surrounded by forests and woods, a setting that nurtured her fascination for trees from an early age. The sculptures are protected by a Plexiglas cube and signed below the base.
