A crystal basket chandelier with eighteen gilt and chased bronze arms, nine of which are attached to a crown decorated with floral motifs, alternating with nine other lights in the distinctive form of peacocks with eagle heads rising from the upper part of the crown. The chandelier is surmounted by a crown decorated with palmettes and crystal pendants, and terminates at its base with a pine cone also surrounded by crystal drops. 19th century, circa 1850.
