A gilt porcelain vase in Etruscan form, on a rectangular base resting on four lion's paw feet, with handles decorated with acanthus leaves. The central medallion, painted in the style of antique cameos, is polychrome and depicts two antique profiles, while the back of the vase, with its gilt background, is decorated tone-on-tone with a laurel wreath and martial symbols. Vases with forms inspired by antiquity are part of the Neoclassical decorative style prevalent in the 19th century. Empire period, circa 1810. Dimensions: L: 22cm, D: 10cm, H: 28cm.
