An elegant gilt bronze and brass fire screen or fireplace screen, fanning outwards. The brass leaves are openwork. Acanthus leaves, a mask, and foliate interlacing adorn both sides of the gilt bronze frame, which is surmounted by a vase. This fire screen closes completely. Circa 1870
