A 19th-century cabinet veneered in red-stained tortoiseshell (Eretmochelys imbricata imbricata), blackened pearwood, and inlaid with ivory (Elephantidae spp.) and bone. Rectangular in shape with architectural decoration, the front, with its central projection, reveals ten small drawers on each side, each decorated with hunting scenes. The central section opens with a door flanked by two columns adorned with mascarons, cascading garlands, an allegory of abundance, and surmounted by two putti. The upper section is bordered by a frieze of acanthus leaves. The lower section, also with a projection, contains five drawers in the frieze. It rests on six turned feet joined by a stretcher. A 19th-century piece in the style of 17th-century Flemish cabinets.
