A very fine Louis XVI style console table in gilt and carved wood, surmounted by a brocatelle marble top, resting on four fluted and reeded pilaster legs joined by an X-shaped stretcher supporting a vase of flowers in its center. The frieze is decorated with stylized motifs and scalloped floral garlands. The console dates from the Napoleon III period. Napoleon III period, circa 1850. Dimensions: W: 120cm, D: 64cm, H: 92cm. In good overall condition, with some wear and chips to the gilding. The X-shaped stretcher has been reinforced. The back (against the wall) of the console has been painted ochre. The marble top is in very good overall condition.
