An Empire period clock in the form of an Etruscan vase, crafted in gilt bronze with a brown patina, mounted on a pedestal. It features two tall handles terminating in finely chased bronze figures in the form of women's heads. The vase is richly decorated with arrows, swans, and floral arrangements, and houses a white enamel dial signed A. Lemoine Asaria, with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. The clock rests on a square base raised by four round feet. Empire period, early 19th century. Circa 1800.
