A gilt and chased bronze portico clock under a glass dome, resting on a blackened wood base. Two caryatid columns support a white enamel dial within an openwork bronze frame, decorated with an eagle at the top and winged horses with human heads at the bottom. Sunburst pendulum. Consulate period. Wire-driven mechanism serviced and in working order. 18th century, circa 1790. Dimensions: W: 24cm, D: 10.5cm, H: 37cm.
