Very large sculpted bronze vase with a polyglobular body resting on a base decorated with a Greek frieze. The whole is decorated with chimeras, dragons, birds of prey and phnixes amidst a stylized décor of clouds, rocks, trees and plants. Meiji period, Japan, 19th century. Circa: 1890

Condition report: The vase is composed of two separate elements at mid-height. In good overall condition, with two small losses of material on the central body. Very fine patina.
