A large pair of Louis XVI-style cassolettes in pinkish-white marble with ormolu mounts, finely chased with interlacing and foliage. The tripod base, adorned with ram heads at the top and finished in a sabot shape, rests on a three-lobed base. The neck and base of the cassolettes are surrounded by pearl friezes. The lids are removable.
