Brown patina bronze group representing "Deux amours se disputant un coeur" after Étienne-Maurice Falconet (1716-1791). This work enjoyed great success in the second half of the 19th century, and was produced in bronze, marble or alabaster. Two winged lovers are depicted fighting to recover a heart shown on the base. The bronze is signed"Falconet" on the terrace. It stands on a Vert-de-Mer marble base.
