A set of three sideboards, two with double doors and the third with a single door. Each cabinet has two drawers in the lower section and rests on four chromed metal legs. Good quality craftsmanship and good overall condition with some minor signs of wear. Designed by HW Klein. Produced by Bramin in the 1960s. Norwegian cabinetmaker and designer Henry Walter Klein earned several degrees in languages and mathematics before dedicating himself to cabinetmaking. During the war, he joined the Royal Norwegian Navy and then worked as a cabinetmaker. In 1949, he went to Frederikberg Technical School in Denmark, where Finn Juhl taught. In 1952, he graduated as a "Boligkonsulent" (interior designer). Back in Norway, Klein practiced interior design. With an engineer, he began developing a new method for manufacturing plastic furniture. He sold the patent to 46 companies, including Fritz Hansen and Bramin. In 1960, the Klein family moved to Bramming, Denmark, where their collaboration with Bramin began. In the 1980s, when the Bramin factory closed, he started working from home.
