An 18th-century Italian carved and gilded wood mirror decorated with deeply carved leaves and a highly stylized Baroque design. Two birds emerge from a profusion of foliage, flanking an openwork flower at the top. The gilding is in good original condition and the carving is of high quality. 18th century, circa 1750.
