Table lamp model "6580 Super" designed by Karl Trabert and published by G. Schanzenbach & Co during the 30s and 40s. This modernist lamp is a classic of twentieth-century design. Little is known about Karl Trabert, except that he was in contact with modernists such as Gropius and Breuer, leaders of the Bauhaus. This pure lamp is meticulously crafted. Its large black enamelled metal reflector is articulated by a parallelogram, remaining parallel to the worktop when oriented. Base and stem in steel, sleeve in black lacquered wood. Circa: 1930
