The "Arco" desk, designed in 1963 by Studio BBPR for Olivetti Arredamenti, was a partnership established in Milan in 1932, bringing together the architects Gianlugi Banfi, Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso, Enrico Peressutti, and Ernesto Nathan Rogers. The metal base unscrews and supports a writing surface and two cabinets, each with three drawers. The top of this vintage desk is made of Bakelite, a plastic material used in the first half of the 20th century for its insulating and heat-resistant properties. It is marked under the top and legs: "OLIVETTI ARREDAMENTI METALLICI". Numbered 62/182. This vintage desk, with its industrial style, is a classic of 1960s design.
