A bronze wall clock with a flowing silhouette typical of the Louis XV Rococo style. Its asymmetrical decoration combines scrolling volutes, foliage, and bouquets of flowers, dominated by a large acanthus motif at the top. Red reserves, adorned with small floral motifs, add a touch of color to the gilt bronze. In the center, the circular white enamel dial features Roman numerals for the hours and an outer scale for the minutes. It is signed "Martin à Paris," an inscription found on the dial. Clocks bearing this signature are documented in collections, notably that of the Musée Carnavalet in Paris
