Louis XV style corner console in gilded wood and breach marble tray, 19th

A Louis XV style corner console table in carved, molded, and gilded wood. A rich decoration of gadrooned foliage and scrolls on a lozenge-patterned background forms the base of this console table. A molded and shaped breccia marble top surmounts the whole. The design of the base and the apron alternates curves and counter-curves, giving this console a fluid movement characteristic of the Rococo style. We also own a second console, slightly wider but of the same height, which would perfectly complement this one. Circa 1850

Condition report: In very good condition, with slight wear from use and cracks in the wood.
