Console and mirror in natural wood stained mahogany in Louis XVI style , with porcelain and gilt bronze ornaments.
The console rests on four fluted, straight legs decorated with gilt-bronze rings. They are joined by an X-shaped stretcher supporting an antique vase. The rectangular onyx top follows the rosewood marquetry frieze, which forms reserves framed in gilt-bronze and decorated with heart-shaped motifs. These reserves hold twenty painted porcelain medallions depicting flowers. The edges of the medallions are chased with a laurel wreath surmounted by a ribbon. In the center, a large gilt-bronze medallion represents two winged Cupids on clouds.
