A mantel clock in sea-green marble and gilt bronze, surmounted by a Cupid reading . He sits on a rock with his bow and quiver at his side. The mantel housing the movement is decorated with heart-shaped motifs, scrolls, and foliage. The dial features Roman numerals indicating the hours with Breguet-style hands. It bears a partially effaced but legible signature: "LEDURE BRONZIER Hémon Her [horloger]". The mechanism is signed on the back: "HEMON A PARIS". Circa 1830
