The artist enjoys exploring the contrast between the robustness of metal and the delicacy of paper, imbuing each tree she creates with a story through its form, colors, and cutouts. Nayla Tabet was born in Lebanon in 1980. At the age of eight, her family sought refuge in France, where she grew up in a small town in the south, surrounded by forests and woods—an environment that nurtured her early fascination with trees. The sculptures are protected by a plexiglass cube and signed on the base.
