Large mirror in micro-mosaic and polychrome glass twists. This Venetian mirror, with its curved shape, is entirely decorated with bouquets of flowers, straw roses and foliage in the naturalist style, in light relief on a gold background. The motifs are delicately worked, and the technique employed is extraordinarily virtuoso. This mirror was made in Venice, Italy, towards the end of the 19th century, when Italian micro-mosaics were renowned throughout Europe.
