A blackened wood cabinet with fluted columns and projecting Corinthian capitals, and curved sides, surmounted by a white marble top set into the structure. The cabinet is decorated with chased and gilded bronze mounts. The frieze is adorned with musical instruments. The medallion depicts an allegory of Love with two figures dressed in classical attire; behind them, a blazing brazier burns on an altar. It is surmounted by a tied ribbon. The remaining decoration consists of trophies, foliage, flowers, and water leaves. A main door opens with a key to reveal three shelves. There are two gilded bronze keyhole escutcheons: a real one and a dummy one opposite. The key is decorated with a fleur-de-lis. This piece is representative of the Napoleon III period in the 19th century. Circa 1860.
