customized secure packaging methods to ensure safe transport and guarantee you impeccable service.

The Atena Gallery workshop is committed to providing a bespoke packing service for objects and furniture. Packing requires great care to ensure the proper preservation of the artworks.

Packaging a sculpture:

Packaging varies depending on the size, weight, and material of the sculpture. For heavy sculptures, we recommend wooden crates. For bisque sculptures, which require careful handling, especially of fragile parts (fingers or decorations), the base is secured to minimize shocks and friction. We cut custom foam inserts to fit the shape of the sculpture to prevent it from shifting inside the crate. Marble and bronze sculptures are carefully wrapped in tissue paper and several layers of bubble wrap. Kraft paper balls surround the package, preventing it from touching the sides of the box.

Packaging of the paintings:

It is essential to secure the corners of the paintings with foam corner protectors. The painting is covered with a sheet of tissue paper and, if necessary, foam pads. It is then wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap to prevent any damage during transport. Cardboard or wooden crates are cut to the size of the painting. Triple-walled corrugated cardboard provides better protection against impacts. Balls of kraft paper are added to the sides to stabilize the painting inside the crate.

Chandelier packaging:

The chandeliers are suspended in the custom-made box.

Furniture packing:

The furniture is securely packed in wooden crates. The sides of the furniture are covered with foam sleeves to prevent friction.
