A biscuit porcelain statuette depicting a nude woman seated on a rock, after the Italian sculptor Raphael Nannini. Marked in relief on the back: "d'après Nanini" and numbered "N 78" under the base. Good condition. Raphael Nannini (19th-20th century) was born in Florence. He practiced his craft as a sculptor in his native city and produced bronze and ivory figures for French companies such as Les Neveux de J. Lehman and Edmond Etling in the early 20th century. He also exhibited at the Paris Salon. Late 19th century, circa 1880. Dimensions: W: 21cm, D: 18cm, H: 38cm.
