Oil on canvas depicting a nude woman seated on her bed. The painting is signed lower right: Louise Landré, 1918. The frame is gilded wood. Louise-Amélie Landré, born in 1852 in Paris, began her training in the studios of Chaplin, then Barias, and finally Hubert. She debuted at the Salon of 1876. In 1885, she was elected a member of the Société des Artistes Français and continued to exhibit portraits and landscapes. Art Nouveau period.
