pom-pom-shaped perfume bottle opal crystal, known as opaline . A wreath of gold and blue anemones and forget-me-nots adorns the rim of the body. This floral frieze is framed by gold lines that also accentuate the neck. The stoppers are decorated with a radiating motif painted in gold. This exquisitely refined decoration was created by the workshop of Jean-Baptiste Desvignes . A second, slightly different bottle is available (see photos). Circa 1820
