A set of six "Flower Pot" pendant lamps by Verner Panton, 1968. Their form is remarkably simple: two nested hemispheres, the larger of which is suspended either by the electrical cord or by a discreet metal bracket. Panton's talent lies in his sensitivity to color and sculptural impact. Shades and reflectors are made of lacquered sheet steel. Three are orange and three are red. Louis Poulsen Lighting, Copenhagen, Denmark. Design period, circa 1970. Dimensions: W: 60cm, D: 60cm, H: 68cm.
