A pair of armchairs in the style of Pierre Guariche (1926-1995), resting on four tapered, black lacquered metal legs. They have a wide seat and a slightly inclined back with low, foam-padded armrests. The entire chair is upholstered in blue velvet. They are similar to the Troika design by Pierre Guariche and Paul Geoffroy, produced in the 1960s.
Pierre Guariche was a French designer active in the 1950s and 1960s. An interior architect, he became known for his mass-produced furniture with a clean, modernist aesthetic. Practical and high-quality, his furniture brought comfort to post-war interiors.
