A large pair of gilt and finely chased bronze andirons in the Louis XVI style. They are surmounted by reclining lions on drapery adorned with passementerie, facing urns. The animals are highly detailed, with sinewy limbs, intricate manes, and visible teeth. The base is decorated with rosettes and foliage within frames. The whole rests on four tapered feet ending in balls.
If you are interested in andirons or fireplace bars, you can find them all in the decoration .
